Angel Shrine Doll Workshop Part 3...

In Part 3 of the workshop…
I cover the "structure" that you are using for the doll body,
the arms, the wings… and how to repair any "cracks" that
may appear on your paper clay doll's head!
Enjoy and let me know if you post any pics on your blogs!

  1. Thanks for your kind comment on my post Daryle, but I'm not so sure I have the same vision for my structure that you have! :) I'll keep working on it but I had thought it might be a bit wide. Then I saw your Emily Dickinson shrine doll's house body and figured there's hope for mine yet! She's so beautiful! :)

    1. Pam, I envision your structure full of objects that will be visible through the glass front door, each one will help tell a story and integrate the entire piece! So many possibilities and directions to go in! The sides of your cabinet will be perfect for adding arms and possibly wings. "Emily" is at Stampington & Company right now, she will be in the "Black and White" challenge section of an upcoming issue of Art Doll Quarterly.

  2. I have been watching all the videos and I can't wait to make an angel shrine. I have been recovering from a medical procedure I had last Thursday. I had a lot of fasting and soft diet, and so I am just getting my strength back. This is the best online workshop. You are so clear and so skilled at presenting. Well, your work is fantastic. You make it look like it is so easy. However, I know it will be a not so easy for me, but I look forward to the challenge.

  3. Marcella… wishing you wholeness and strength in your recovery. Creating with my hands is often a healing balm for me! Thank you for stopping by.
